SMS Alerts

This service will offer alerts of Namaz, Ayah, Hadith, Sehr/Iftar etc for Ramadan. All customers need to do is type ‘RA’ and SMS it to 565 to subscribe. Details of the service are given below . Text based alerts will only be available for JAZZ subscribers.

• On subscribing option 1 and 2 users will get an alert before each Namaz and 30 minutes before Sehar/Iftar
• While subscribing to Bundle Alerts, subscriber will be able to subscribe to Sehr-o-Iftar, Namaz Timings and Islamic Date SMS alerts for the current day.

Service Mechanism

Any subscriber who will send numeric digit from 1-7 will be directly subscribed against that alert.
To change “City” for Namaz and Sehr-o-Iftar alerts, subscriber needs to send “City” to short code 258

• On selecting Namaz alerts, subscriber will be asked to enter his city for which he will not be charged anything. Short code from which he will get the message is 258
• There are no charges for SMS to 565
• If customer sends a keyword other than 1-7, no charging will be done as no MT message will be sent
