And who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allah while being a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth? And Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend. [Quran 4:125]

And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. [Surat Al Isra 17:23]

Attention foursquare users! My BlackBerry just told me that foursquare was offering an update and upon checking App Word this isn't any old update, this one has some cool new stuff. Just like the updates that came to iOS and Andriod a few weeks back, this one is packed with fun features. The biggest change is a brand new tweaked user interface -- the design has had an overhaul to make using the app more enjoyable.
In addition, App World is also listing the following features as updated:
Let us know what you think of the redesign in the comments.

Listen up all you 78 million BlackBerry users out there as I've got a hot BlackBerry tip you'll want to take advantage of immediately...
When it comes to calendar popup reminders (as seen in the photo above), you normally have three options: Open, Dismiss and Snooze, with the Snooze time being a default time that you set within calendar options. It is not adjustable within the popup.
However, thanks to this BlackBerry tip, you can enbable it so you can adjust your calendar snooze time on the fly. Here's how you do it:
Step 1: Open the Calendar App
Step 2: Hit the Menu Key, and Select Options
Step 3: Type in the letters acsz
That's it. From there you *should* get a popup saying "Now allowing user to change snooze from dialog" as shown in the photo below. If this doesn't work for you, try holding down the Alt key while typing acsz. Having this feature enabled now allows you to scroll through the snooze times whenever you get a calendar reminder, so you're not stuck with the default time. And if you want to disable this functionality, all you need to do is repeat the steps and things will go back to the way they were. I tested this out on quite a few phones, and it appears this even works all the way back to OS 5.0.
So that's it. Set a test appointment and try it out for yourself. This is a no brainer to have enabled. Be sure to spread the word and tell everybody you heard it at CrackBerry!

Our common humanity
It is so easy for us to allow our sense of reverence for ‘higher-ups’ to interfere with our ability to make a true connection with them. They are, after-all, people, just as we are! This very thought is what liberates our minds and fosters free exchange of ideas among people from a variety of backgrounds and traditions.

Looking for an effortless way to announce your arrival or departure to those who are important to you? How about doing so without causing a huge demand on your monthly allotted data plan? The utility app LittleBrother is one such app, which we just so happened to have covered in the past. Imagine having an app that sends out an automatic email or SMS to specific contacts that let them know if you are leaving from, or arriving at, a particular location. It’s a low profile app that doesn’t suck the life out of your battery, as other GPS apps do. LittleBrother says no to GPS and instead relies on Cell Tower location. It allows for around the clock uptime without draining the battery. Unless you’re using GPS to get directions while you’re commuting, then LittleBrother is the perfect tool for you. It’s also a time saver, as you no longer have to send the standard “I’m here” or “I’m on my way” – it does it for you. Not only that but, if you’re a foursquare user, you can set up LittleBrother to check into venues for you. Check out the details of what LittleBrother offers to see what can really do. Recently, LittleBrother was updated to version 22.214.171.124 to include BBM integration.
