A real story: Proud to be a Pakistani

A *real story by Engr. Haseeb. Enjoy reading...!

Aslam-o-Alaikum

I want to share with u ppl, some rememberable moments I had last night here in my University in Uppsala, Sweden. There was an International Food Competition last night here in my university. There were 11 teams representing different countries with there traditional foods. Alhamdulilla I presented Pakistan and cook Chicken vegetable Rice, Zarda Palau, Drum sticks with rayata and khujoor.(we were three team members and we all wear Shalwar Kameez at that time). The Swedish ppl tasted all the foods and after that there was a voting. I prayed to God that I have the only halal food at my stall so how is it possible that haram food will win? And Thanks God, Ahamdulillah, really halal won with a big lead (we got 70% Votes and runner up was Check Republic which got just 13 % vote and all other countries were far behind).

Than I made a speech there, I said " u ppl always amaze that how we Muslims can survive and how we Muslim can enjoy our lives without eating Pork (Soor) and drinking Alcohol? now ur decision have proved that we are enjoying our lives without Pork and alcohol more than any of other nation who are using these things. we use our full intentions and our love while cooking and that's why we win. So there are a lot of things in this world to eat and drink other than Pork and Alcohol" (main nay un say Pakistan zinda baad kay naray bhee lagway)

They were really impressed and admit my views. And it was my first time that I cook these things by myself, I just asked my sister on phone that how to cook these things? I just won because of my prayer to my Dearest Almighty Allah (Alhamdulillah).

Please always remember me in ur prayers that May Allah give me the courage to prove the dignity of Islam all over the world where ever I go.

Thanks.

Allah Hafiz.
