Anas bin Malik narrated that:

"An older man came to talk to the Prophet, and the people were hesitant to make room for him. The Prophet said: "He is not one of us who does not have mercy on our young and does not respect our elders."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ زَرْبِيٍّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ جَاءَ شَيْخٌ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَبْطَأَ الْقَوْمُ عَنْهُ أَنْ يُوَسِّعُوا لَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏ وَزَرْبِيٌّ لَهُ أَحَادِيثُ مَنَاكِيرُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَغَيْرِهِ ‏.‏

Anas bin Malik narrated that:

the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a tree with dry leaves, so he struck it with his staff, making the leaves fall. Then he said: “Indeed, ‘all praise is due to Allah, (Al-Ḥamdulillāhh)’ ‘glory to Allah, (Subḥān Allāh)’ ‘none has the right to be worshipped by Allah, (Lā Ilāha Illallāh)’ and ‘Allah is the greatest (Allāhu Akbar)’ cause the sins to fall from the worshipper, just as the leaves of this tree fall.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ بِشَجَرَةٍ يَابِسَةِ الْوَرَقِ فَضَرَبَهَا بِعَصَاهُ فَتَنَاثَرَ الْوَرَقُ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَتُسَاقِطُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِ الْعَبْدِ كَمَا تَسَاقَطَ وَرَقُ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏ وَلاَ نَعْرِفُ لِلأَعْمَشِ سَمَاعًا مِنْ أَنَسٍ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَدْ رَآهُ وَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ ‏.‏

Narrated Abu `Abs:

I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Anyone whose feet are covered with dust in Allah's cause, shall be saved by Allah from the Hell-Fire."

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَايَةُ بْنُ رِفَاعَةَ، قَالَ أَدْرَكَنِي أَبُو عَبْسٍ وَأَنَا أَذْهَبُ، إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ ‏"‏‏.‏

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا ، کہا کہ ہم سے ولید بن مسلم نے بیان کیا ، کہا کہ ہم سے یزید بن ابی مریم نے بیان کیا ، کہا کہ ہم سے عبایہ بن رفاعہ بن رافع بن خدیج نے بیان کیا ، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں جمعہ کے لیے جا رہا تھا ۔ راستے میں ابوعبس رضی اللہ عنہ سے میری ملاقات ہوئی ، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے کہ جس کے قدم خدا کی راہ میں غبارآلود ہو گئے اللہ تعالیٰ اسے دوزخ پر حرام کر دے گا ۔

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Neglecting one's own dependents is a reason enough for a man to commit a sin".

The narration in Muslim is: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "It is enough sin for a person to hold back the due of one whose provision is in his hand".

وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما قال‏:‏ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏"‏ كفى بالمرء إثمًا أن يضيع من يقوت‏"‏ حديث صحيح ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود وغيره‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏ 
ورواه مسلم في صحيحه بمعناه قال‏:‏ ‏"‏ كفى بالمرء إثمًا أن يحبس عمن يملك قوته‏"‏‏.‏
