Windows 9x and NT systems allow a convenient storage of frequently
used passwords, such as the password of your dial-in ISP or FTP connection.
However, since you no longer enter the saved password manually, you tend to
forget them. What are you to do when you need to know one of the saved passwords ?
The password is staring right at you, but is hiding behind a row of
"*****" asterisks. This nifty utility allows you to reclaim your password:
Activate the utility, drag the 007 mouse cursor on the password field
and your password is revealed instantly in the display of 007.
Limitations: This utility works well with most password screens you will
encounter on a MS Windows system, such as the password fields on the
ISP dial-up dialog, within CuteFTP or Outlook Express. However, it does not
work with applications that do not actually store the password "behind"
the asteriks e. g. the Windows NT User Manager. The software works
on Win 95, 98 and Windows NT, but not Windows 2000.

HOW DOES IT WORK ? :

007 Password Recovery is extremely easy to use:
1. Click with your LEFT mouse button on the "KEY" ICON ->
2. Your mouse cursor is changed to a "KEY" cursor ->
3. Now, KEEP THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON PRESSED DOWN and move the mouse to
the window that contains the password field ("*****") you want to read
4. Once the cursor is on the right spot in the window that contains the "*****" password field(s), you can
read the password on the screen of the 007 password control. ->
5. For your convenience, the password stays on the screen
until you left-mouseclick on the "KEY" icon again.

The software comes with a complete Install / Uninstall program. This will install
the following files on your system:
007pwd.exe | the password recovery utility
readme.txt | this file !
license.txt | the software license
history.txt | the revision history
For a manuall install (e. g. on a second PC) it is sufficient to copy only
007pwd.exe to any directory of your choice and double-click on it.

SMTP / POP3 email account. For use with security applications
like the well-known PC#Protect Access Control SESAME can be
run invisibly in the background (STEALTH mode), i. e. it does
not show up in the task bar, system tray or task list.
SESAME automatically sends any kind of program output (logfiles,
measurement results, configuration files, text files, WORD documents...)
from your office, offsite or customer PC to your email account.
System administrators can use it to get a message whenever a specific file
is changed on one of the administrated PCs. This automatic mailing
can be triggered by various criteria like a fixed time interval,
