Clean the Air Filter of your AC (Air Conditioner)

Living in the middle of the desert means much more dust than other parts of the world. Due to some sheer laziness I didn’t check the air filters of LG split ACs of my apartment for last 6 months, finally when I checked them yesterday, they were in following condition:

After washing them from pressure water, they came back to their original look which is:

The AC became very quite after this cleaning. According to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), cleaning air filters of ACs can save up to 6% of electricity bills. The manual of my AC stated to clean the filters once in every 2 weeks. To not miss that again I have set a recurring reminder on my mobile.

Update(30-04-2014): Feedback from my wife:  it was well organized event in a big hall, with stalls of multiple items like jewelry, clothes, cosmetics, home decor and arts and crafts too. It offered a nice environment for ladies to enjoy their time and explore things of their interests.
