How to get Free Delivery in Saudi Arabia from USA and UK - Step by Step Guide (Updated)

Saudi Post has a service Wasel Aalami which would let you get a free Delivery from USA and UK. The idea is that Saudi Post would provide you with addresses which are of USA/UK and anything which is delivered to those addresses would be delivered to KSA for Free.

  • Next page would ask you to enter user details for new user creation. Enter appropriate details and upon submitting it will give you the following msg:

  • Click on ‘Login’, it will take you back on the main page, enter your login details and click Submit.

  • You would see 2 addresses under ‘Wasel Aalami Service’, 1 is for USA and the other is for UK. Now whatever can be delivered to USA or UK for Free can be Delivered to you in KSA for Free as well by using these addresses. If your delivery is not free on the above addresses then don’t choose the option of payment on delivery because that delivery would be rejected, pay in advance and you won’t be charged anything for USA/UK to KSA leg.

  • Your Delivery would take another 10 days to reach KSA and it would arrive in Saudi Post office and you would receive a call to collect it. If you want it to be delivered at your door steps then you would have to pay SR90/year for that service.

  • On this page you can keep track of your orders and there are many other options available from Saudi Post, you can explore them and use them accordingly:

Update(08-04-2014): It has been informed by a reader that there are some charges mentioned on Saudi Post website for using this service. The charges can be seen on this link: http://www.sp.com.sa/English/SaudiPost/ProductsServices/Pages/myaddressinus.aspx

It is strange that it was told to me by the Saudi Post representative that its free and also my friend checked from a different branch of Saudi Post and they also confirmed that its free. I am not sure if the website is not updated or the information provided by the Saudi Posts personals was wrong.
