After visiting Istiklal Street on our 1st Day in Istanbul, 23rd February 2015, we visited Taksim Square. Like Istiklal Street it was not in our plan but just because we were there, we visited it at 8:05pm. Again there is nothing much to see there, the oldest tram starts from there so it is like a station for it, although there is no proper station/terminal building there. There is also limited seating area thus it was difficult to spend much time there.
