Latest BBM for Android moves out of beta and into public release

Near the end of July, BBM rolled out a pretty hefty update to BBM for Android and finally, it has now moved into public release. The latest version sits at v3.3.7.94 and includes a number of changes.



Near the end of July, BBM rolled out a pretty hefty update to BBM for Android and finally, it has now moved into public release. The latest version sits at v3.3.7.94 and includes a number of changes to how the app looks visually, how stickers are displayed and categorized plus BBM groups are now easier to manage.

Official Changes

• UI improvements to chat
• Categorized search for easy navigation
• Localised Discover services for videos, music, entertainment
• Manage your groups with easy 'Leave' and 'Delete' options
• Enhanced protection against spam
• Bug fixes

The official changes are a bit of rehashing but some to expand on that list, folks who download the latest version should see a redesigned chat UI with new chat balloon and static background, stickers listed by category, new, and free making it so you can find free ones faster as well, the features for events and topics in Groups are enabled by default. Still missing from the update, however, is the free PIN customization options from July.
