The user receives an SMS/Email/Social Network Post that he has won reward from Samsung/Samsung Promo. The SMS/Email/Social Network Post contains a website link and sometime a Samsung Key, the user is requested to visit the website and insert the Samsung Key and his mobile number to claim his reward. Once he/she enters their details, he/she is manipulated one way or another to pay some money in advance in order to get the reward or user’s information is extracted and misused using his number. In some cases a malware is installed in the computer to extract user’s private data.
