How STC customers can disable advertisements on STC numbers

Post Type :

Control of Promotional Messages service

In our efforts to satisfy customers and meet their demands, STC has launched the "Control of Promotional Messages" service, which allows customers to stop Advertising Messages that pertain to STC in the first phase, and to all advertisers in the second phase which will be launched very soon. Customers will be able to block promotional messages from STC but will still receive bill notifications, service activations and confirmations which can be filtered as per the customer's request. To block promotional messages from STC, customers need to send a message containing "STC" to 801001, and to remove the block, they would send "STC" to 801002. Customers may find out who is on their blocked list (STC only in this phase) by sending an empty message to 801002. In addition, they can remove all blocks by sending "delall" to 801002. To get more help, customers need to send an empty message to 801003. To change the language to Arabic, they would send "1" to 801003, while to change it to English, they would send "2" to 801003. If customers block an advertiser and still receive messages from them, they can report the incident by sending the company's name or the code number to 801004.
