  • tell which frequencies have been reserved for TDD and FDD.
  • explain how the CDMA method works, where each User Equipment is assigned an individual code to cipher and decipher its data with.
  • describe how the channelization code indicates the uses of the different channels. 
  • explain how the scrambling code is used to identify the Node B in the downlink.

  • classify the physical, transport and logical channels, and understand what their functions are.
