Something Important Missing in Windows 10

image

Problem: While using Windows if a process gets stuck, the user feels that the Windows has halt or has got very slow. This usually happens if due to any reason the process starts consuming a lot of CPU processing power.

Current Solution: User has to open the Task Manager, has to see Performance Tab, if it’s unusually high then the user needs to Shut Down the highest CPU consuming processes from Processes Tab.

Problems with Current Solution: It’s not proactive, it doesn’t inform user what to do and when to do it, it’s not very user friendly.

Proposed Solution: An internal process of Windows can keeps monitoring the CPU consumption of all other running processes and if a process takes unusually high consumption then it can inform user about the process and if that app is not expected to take that kind of CPU power then the user can shut down that process immediately. In Windows 10, the new notifications feature can be used to show a notification whenever such scenario happens.

Hoping that Microsoft will read this post and will add this feature in Windows 10 which will help many users.
