• A large crowd gathered on 1st January at FESCO office near Mobilink office at treat bakers to protest against ongoing heavy load shedding. The crowed asked all the shop/market owners to shut down their shops. Once the said crowed went to the treat bakers, the staff of the bakery came out but as there were no shutters at the bakery front, the crowed started throwing stones on it.
• The security guard of the bakery fired few shots in the air on the orders of his boss to disperse off the crowed but the crowed got emotional. Some of them rushed into the bakery hall & started looting and some of them set the external part of the bakery on fire.
• All the law enforcement agencies were incorporated. The fire brigade team responded well, reached immediately and quickly controlled fire.
