GForce Pakistan is a hacker group that consists of eight members. It has been very active recently, generating considerable publicity for itself. It works by actively exploiting the S-ADMIND, WU-FTPD and ToolTalk vulnerabilities on the Internet. Once the computer has been compromised, the group downloads Apache Web Server software and turns the computer into a web server to function as a vehicle for their political rhetoric.
They pick on websites with a huge domestic audience and government sites, posting messages that are profane, insulting and lack visual appeal. They also put up jokes about Indians on the pages they hack.
An example of a defaced website.
Silver Lords
Silver Lords is another group of four, with three of its members from Pakistan and one from Brazil. They attack Windows, FreeBSD and Linux servers, which have really bad or no security at all.
They target big sites by making a log of the domains and subdomains on them and by simply hacking and defacing the host that comes in their target. However, their objective is not to delete anything, but to get into the system and replace its files, making sure that they rename the original file to another file.
Their screen names range from MaDDoNa, macviz, ScorpionKTX, Lord Choo3s, foul, Packeted to MiRiNdA. They place a red and black image on the sites they hack, leaving behind anti-India messages like Silver Lords : For the Freedom of Kashmir.
