Version 6.0

-Default Templates-
Default templates will now load in the correct case, according to the
setting in options.

-List Wizard-
The new list wizard makes it even easier to create different types
of lists.

-User Interface-
Some of the selections on the user interface now use glass buttons.

-Registration Numbers-
With version 6.0 comes a new scheme for calculating registration
numbers.  If you are currently a registered user of WPC send your
original registration name and number to sparker@tricon.net and we
will send you a new registration number.

-Many More-
There are many more changes in this release.  This is the reason for
the jump in version numbers.

 

Version 5.93

-Maintenance Update-
This version has some significant changes but mainly corrects a
couple of bugs.

This version corrects a couple of bugs and makes some internal
adjustments.

 

Version 5.9

-New Graphics Support-
This is one of the most substantial updates to WPC in quite a while
and almost all of the changes deal with graphics.

-Removed The 'View GIF' button-
At first glance you will notice that the 'View GIF' button is gone.
This button has now been combined with the 'Image' button on the
'Back/Links/Etc' toolbar.

-New Graphic Formats-
Many new graphic formats have been added to WPC including PNG, JPG,
TIF and PCX.  Any of these formats can be viewed, entered into the
HTML or used to create an image map.

-Internal-
There were several internal adjustments made in this version.

 

Version 5.80

-The Last Directory Used Is Now Saved-
Whenever you open or save a file the directory is saved and will be
the default directory the next time WPC is started.

-Squashed The Support File Bug-
In prior versions of WPC there was a small bug that popped up when
WPC was started by another program, such as NetScape.  This bug
caused WPC to not find it's support files (WPC.INI, KEY files, etc.).
We are happy to say that this has now been corrected.

 

Version 5.75

-Last Modified Button Now Has Options-
Select Options/Setup from the main menu and you will find a new page
entitled 'Last Modified'.  This set of options allows you to adjust
how the last modified button works.

-Auto-Update Last Modified-
You can now have a commented tag that will automatically update when
the page was last modified.  Each time you save a file that has this
tag in it, Last Modified will be updated.  This button can be found
on the main toolbar under 'Format' next to 'Last Mod'.

-The History List Now Shows The Full Path-
When you click on history you will now be shown the filenames along
with the full path to the file.
-Edit Windows Now Show The Full Path-
Each edit window you are working on now shows the path along with the
filename as the title.  This should make it a lot easier to keep track
of which 'INDEX.HTML' you are working on.

-Internal Changes-
As with all new versions of WPC there are a lot of internal changes
that will make WPC run smoother.  These changes aren't always visible,
but they are there...

 

Version 5.6

-Reworked Image Maps-
You can now move back and forth between the Image Map screen and the
main WPC screen.  While at either screen, press the right mouse button
to bring up an edit menu.  This allows you to copy URL's from your HTML
document into the image map dialogs.

-Main Toolbar Scrolling-
The scrolling of the main toolbar should be a lot friendlier.

-Internal-
There were several internal adjustments made in this version.

 

Version 5.5

-Image Maps-
You can now create image maps within WPC.  Check the new button on
the 'Back/Links/Etc.' toolbar.

-New Help File-
There is finally a new help file to go along with WPC.  This one is
smaller yet has more information.

Version 5.16 & 5.165

-Maintenance Updates-
These versions make some internal adjustments to WPC.

 

Version 5.15

-Changed the main button bar-
The main button bar is now in a tabbed format.  This may be a little
more inconvenient but it makes room for more tags

-Text attributes-
Added several new tags to Text Attributes

-Tables (again)-
Table sections have been divided into a tabbed format

-Links-
Hyperlinks and anchors have now been combined into one button

-Anchors-
When a page is loaded WPC will extract the anchors that exist and
add them automatically to the the anchors window

-Memory-
WPC is now a little less greedy with memory

-Marquee-
Added the marquee tag

-Embed-
Added then embed tag.  Currently the embed tag is used for playing
sound files in WPC.  In fact the button on the toolbar is listed
as Sound.
