BBM for BlackBerry Updated – Adds Chat Wallpapers, Emoticons, and More!

Right after launching BBM Protected, BlackBerry has pushed an update for BBM for BlackBerry 10. The new update puts BBM for BlackBerry 10 on par with current releases for Android and iOS, and adds a little more for the BlackBerry faithful. Change log: Introducing support for BBM Protected Support for chat wallpapers in the BBM Shop 16 new emoticons Improved experience adding contacts via email Updates tab is now called “Feeds” The one update that sticks out at us is the support for chat wallpapers. Like Stickers, this is definitely a new idea for BBM users that will hopefully be successful. The BBM Shop currently has four different chat wallpapers available to download for free in blue, green, red, and  yellow as shown below. No word on whether BlackBerry will bring chat wallpapers to its Android and iOS clients in the future.
