How to Fix SSD Drive Signature Collision in Windows 10

I had  cloned my M.2 SSD NVMe drive (Toshiba to Samsung), so after that when I tried to use as backup using thunderbolt cable / USB 3 port ,so I found the Signature Collision, as you know each storage devices are tagged with a unique number called Disk Signature for identification. The unique disk identifier is stored as part of the Master Boot Record (MBR).

So using Disk Management, Right click on the disk that was marked as Offline.

On selecting the option Online, Windows will generate a new disk signature after that I was able to use as backup, so this new Samsung M.2 SSD Nvme drive, I had placed on my laptop and everything is working perfectly.

Yesterday I tried to make a recovery drive, so I found the below error.

We can't create a recovery drive on this PC

I also found system restore was disabled, so I enabled it.

Issue resolved, first I used the software (RESTORO) for repair

 after I ran the below commands

C:\Windows\system32>reagentc /disable

REAGENTC.EXE: Windows RE is already disabled.

C:\Windows\system32>reagentc /setreimage /path \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition1\Recovery\WindowsRE

Directory set to: \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition1\Recovery\WindowsRE

REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.

C:\Windows\system32>reagentc /enable

REAGENTC.EXE: Operation Successful.

The recovery partition information is lost – This is known to happen if the user has previously tried to clone the system on another drive.
