Clean the Air Filter of your AC (Air Conditioner)

Living in the middle of the desert means much more dust than other parts of the world. Due to some sheer laziness, I didn’t check the air filters of the LG split ACs of my apartment for the last 6 months. Finally, when I checked them yesterday, they were in the following condition:
After washing them with pressure water, they came back to their original look, which is:
The AC became very quiet after this cleaning. According to the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), cleaning air filters of ACs can save up to 6% of electricity bills. The manual of my AC states to clean the filters once every 2 weeks. To not miss that again, I have set a recurring reminder on my mobile.
