1. Ayun AlSeih (Means Eyes of Al-Seeh) / Ayuun an Najm / Al Kharj Wells

 

From 20130509 - Al Kharj

This place has 2 big holes, around 500m apart and it is said that those were created by meteor shower 1000s of years back. These holes use to have water just a decade or so ago and thus these were used for irrigation. Now these are completely empty and have a fence around them for safety purposes but there are some entrances in the fence made by visitors. You can only see it during day light as there are no arrangements to see during night.

Visiting Time: From Sunrise till Sunset

 

Time Required: 1 hr

Address: While going from Riyadh to Alkharj, before entering Alkharj City you would see a saying "Ayun AlSeih", follow this board. When you see Al Rajhi bank on your left ,Turn to King Abdullah Road on right and go all the way till you see a round about pointing to this location .It is end of the road so it is easy to find.

This Zoo is spread over an area of 30,000 square meters with many species of animals and birds. It has big green lawns, trees and playing area for children.
