While searching for Hotels in Istanbul for 9 nights, (23rd February 2015 – 4th March 2015) what I was looking for was a hotel which is budget friendly, at a walking distance from main attractions and public transportation and yet it should be quite so that we can have a good sleep after roaming around the whole day.
I checked around 25+ hotels online and the hotel which attracted me the most was Bereket Apart Hotel. It has a rating of 8.3 on booking.com and as per reviews on various websites, the location is perfect and the owner Ali is very hospitable.
We found it better than the reviews! Thanks a lot Ali for making our stay in Istanbul very memorable and hassle free. We would definitely like to stay at Bereket Apart Hotel again.
Facilities in Room (Ground Floor):
Location: The location on Google Maps is wrong, the correct location is: 41.003703, 28.971138 (Taxi Drivers might not be aware of the correct location thus it is recommended to guide them yourself)
Public Transportation: Nearest Tram T1 station is Sultanahmet which is around 700m but it is uphill. There is also Çatladı Kapı Durağı Bus Station at around 300m downhill but we preferred T1.
Food: After first 2 days we discovered Ziya Baba Slow Food (Traditional Turkish) which was very near (100m) and was on the way to the hotel and it has great taste and good service in budget friendly prices.
Address: Kadirga Limani Caddesi No:143 Sultanahmet, Fatih, 34122 Istanbul, Turkey (This is a closed Street)
Email: Contact Ali at info@bereketapart.com (You can give my reference, Nauman Khan from Pakistan)
If you visit this hotel then plz convey my (Nauman from Pakistan) greetings to Ali.
