Central region has just completed one of the biggest indoor active solutions in Asia. Pakistan's biggest metro site - at Lahore's Shah-Alam (Azam Cloth Market) - was completed in a short period of 16 months.
Metro site LLR-907 was gifted to Telenor Pakistan on its 5th birthday, possibly one of the best gifts it could get.
Antennas installed in the congested cloth market amid twisting electricity and telephone cables
High quality GSM services were long awaited by the huge business community at Azam Cloth Market where more than 10,000 shops are situated. This huge wholesale and retail market serves the entire country; hundreds and thousands of visitors, buyers and sellers flock to the market every day.
Considering the challenging, congested, twisting and very dense pathways in the market, setting up an active solution was an arduous task.
But today, 7 Remote Units and 206 Active Solution Omni Antennas make up Pakistan's largest metro site, providing high quality coverage in an 800m radius to the following blocks:
Lahore Block, Karachi Block, Peshawar Block, Qaisar Block, Chaman Bazar, Bajwa Block, Umar Block, Al-Noor Market, Ahad Market, Wazir Market and Ayubi Market.
The site activation will pave the way for more opportunities ahead. More demand generation will allow us to cater to subscribers' needs and further expand our services to reach out to millions more.

I really dont think that a 200 antenna IBS is "big" in Asian terms. It may be the biggest in Pakistan but systems of ten times this scale and bigger are installed in many Asian countries.
