On the authority of Abdullaah ibn Umar (May Allaah be pleased with them)that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:"Whoever goes to sleep at night in a state of purification, there's an angel that spends the night near him/her. The person doesn't wake up except that the angel says:"Oh Allaah forgive your servant so and so, for indeed he/she went to sleep at night in a state of purification." (Ibn Hibbaan, Authenticated by Al-Imaam Al-Albaani in Saheeh At-Targheeb wa At-Tarheeb 1/317)
