Hadrath Anas {radiy’Allaahu ta’aalaa anhu} reported that Hadrath Zaid bin Thabit {radiy’Allaahu ta’aalaa anhu} said, “We took the Suhur with The Holy Prophet {sall’Allaahu ta’aalaa alaihi wa’sallam}. Then He {sall’Allaahu ta’aalaa alaihi wa’sallam} stood for the prayer.”  I asked, “What was the interval between the Suhur and the Adhan?” He replied, “The interval was sufficient to recite fifty verses of the Qur’aan.”  {Sahih Bukharii Shariif – Volume 3, Book 31, Number 144}
